Thank you for your interest in the Toronto Prep School. Our Admissions Office realizes the significance of a family’s decision to consider an independent school and it is our goal that our admission process will be informative, constructive and a favourable experience.
The Toronto Prep School seeks to enroll a group of diverse students. We follow an open admission policy, whereby qualified candidates are admitted without an entrance test, but rather on assessment for evidence of good character, maturity, and academic motivation. The Admission Committee evaluates each applicant on the basis of personal interview, academic record, teacher and community recommendations.
Our Admissions package, which can be downloaded or picked up at our Main Office, includes all the documentation necessary to complete the admissions process. You will also find a prepared checklist to help you organize and complete the application forms.
